What: Five (5) days of fun-filled, exciting robotics activities.
When: Session I---June 23-27 and Session II---July 7-11 of 2008, will run from 1:30pm until 4:30pm each day.
Where: Computer Science Department, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Belton, Texas
Cost: $90 charge per participant (a few scholarships will be awarded to participants who can demonstrate financial need.)
Activities: "Hands on" robotics investigations will be conducted involving such topics as: construction of LEGO® mindstrom robots, simple programming and games.


This program has been designed to motivate and excite middle and elementary school students about science while giving them actual laboratory experience.
Participants will construct and program the LEGO® mindstrom robotic kits and perform specific robotic tasks, e.g. robots running a maze.
ROBOTCAMP is sponsored by the UMHB’s Association for Computing Machinery/IEEE and Computer Science Department.
